The successful candidate will join the Treasury & Investment Operations Team with the following responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting and investment operations, including trade execution, settlement and cash management;
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes;
Handle KYC/AML procedures, tax and compliance matters, and account onboarding processes;
Prepare monthly investment performance analysis and reports for management review;
Develop long-term relationships with financial institutions and asset management firms;
Coordinate with external auditors and provide support during audit engagements; and
Support ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as required.

Requirements

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline;
At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or external audit;
Solid knowledge of financial instruments (e.g. bonds, stocks), and their accounting treatments;
A team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and strong work ethic;
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment;
Strong communication abilities and effective stakeholder management skills; and
Experience with Oracle Financials is highly desirable.

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totally up to 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview.
