Adjunct Faculty - Department of Physics and Astronomy

The Department of Physics & Astronomy is seeking qualified part-time temporary faculty to teach introductory Physics and Astronomy courses at Rowan University. Most opportunities are in the area of introductory laboratory teaching assignments, though assignments in introductory lecture sections are possible. Occasional opportunities for teaching advanced and selected topic courses are available.

Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and strong recommendations from references. All applicants will be retained for future adjunct appointments.
Applicants should provide cover letter, CV, and names/contact info of at least two references.
Note: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
