About the Role
~1 min readStep into a key nursing leadership role where you’ll guide quality care, support your team and help keep the unit running smoothly. You’ll work alongside the Nurse Unit Manager to strengthen clinical practice, patient flow and a positive team culture.
- Lead nursing care and support consistent patient outcomes
- Coordinate patient care, services and efficient flow
- Support daily unit operations and service priorities
- Guide staffing, rosters, leave and work allocation
- Drive evidence-based practice and quality improvement
- Support change and resolve care or service issues
- Develop staff through teaching, coaching and feedback
- Promote a positive learning and team culture
- Contribute to clinical audits, research and service review
