Baton Rouge Community College is seeking enthusiastic and dependable students to serve as Maxwell, the official BRCC mascot, at campus and community events.
Maxwell Ambassadors represent the spirit, pride, and professionalism of BRCC while engaging students, faculty, staff, and community members
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Wear and perform as Maxwell at approved events
- →Maintain professional conduct while representing BRCC
- →Arrive on time and prepared for assigned events
- →Follow all costume handling and safety procedures
- →Return costume components immediately after events
- →Maintain confidentiality regarding mascot identity
- Enrollment and recruiting events
- Student Life activities
- Athletic events (as requested)
- Community outreach appearances
- LCTCS or institutional conferences
Requirements
~1 min read- Currently enrolled BRCC student in good standing
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable engaging with crowds
- Positive attitude and strong school spirit
- Able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Physically able to wear mascot costume for 20–30-minute intervals
- Able to follow instructions and brand guidelines
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Background in performance, athletics, or leadership roles
- Experience in customer service or public interaction
- Flexible schedule
- Attend required training session
- Confirm availability 48 hours prior to events
- Follow BRCC Student Code of Conduct
- Comply with travel policies for off-campus events (if applicable)
