About the Role

The Home Support Worker is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the cleaning and shopping services to clients of Domiciliary Care, thereby promoting their independence at home and preventing premature and/or inappropriate admission to residential care facilities or long stay hospital beds. The Home Support Worker may also be required to undertake laundry duties.

To succeed in the Home Support Worker

Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
Flexible and reliable, with the ability to meet deadlines, follow rosters and work effectively under general direction.
Practical and safety-focused, with an understanding of infection control, cleaning standards, safe work practices and manual handling.
Capable and adaptable, with housekeeping experience and confidence using basic computer systems and everyday technology.
Customer-focused and trustworthy, demonstrating discretion, confidentiality, initiative and a commitment to providing a high-quality service.
