Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and apply advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning models to real-world data (RWD).
- →Create innovative tools and solutions to extract deeper insights from RWD and enhance the centre’s analytical capabilities.
- →Develop, validate, and deploy AI/ML models to support RWE generation.
- →Leverage the RWSAC's AI facility to conduct large-scale analyses and build innovative tools derived from RWD to improve clinical practice and research.
- →Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML for healthcare and ensure methodologies are cutting-edge and scientifically sound.
- →Ensure all AI models are developed with considerations for fairness, ethics, and transparency.
Requirements
~1 min read- PhD degree or above preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering, data ops, or AI/ML data management, preferably in the medical and/or research sectors.
- Hands-on experience of building and maintaining production-grade datasets for AI/ML models.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

What We Offer
~1 min readThe appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
