About the Role
~1 min readLead clinical pharmacy practice and make a meaningful difference as a Senior Pharmacist (AHP3) with Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. Enjoy diverse clinical experience, professional autonomy and the opportunity to shape pharmacy services in a welcoming regional community.
You’ll provide advanced clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines management across inpatient and outpatient services, partnering with medical, nursing and allied health teams to optimise patient care. You’ll provide trusted therapeutic advice, apply advanced clinical judgement and champion the safe, effective and cost-conscious use of medicines.
As a senior member of the pharmacy team, you’ll lead and coordinate a designated service area, support medication safety initiatives and contribute to service improvement. You’ll also share your expertise through the supervision and development of interns and students, helping build capability across the team.
You’ll join a supportive multidisciplinary environment where your expertise is valued and you can make a visible impact on patients, colleagues and the wider health service.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Bring advanced clinical pharmacy experience across hospital services
- Demonstrate leadership and ability to coordinate a service area
- Apply sound judgement to complex clinical and medication issues
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
You’ll also bring a commitment to quality use of medicines, medication safety, professional development and continuous improvement.
