Assistant Leasing Manager

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Leasing Manager on behalf of our client to join their team based in Western Cape. Responsibilities (but not limited to): Negotiations of lease renewals. Liaise with various Landlords and Portfolio Managers. Check status quo and unique requirements/clauses of lease agreements. Peruse and prepare offers and lease agreements for signature. Implement systems and control measures. Responsible for maintaining and improve Tenant/ Landlord relations. Property Administration. Professional support services to the team. Maintain efficient filing system for leases and written correspondence. Requirements National Senior Certificate (or equivalent). Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage. Experience: 3 years’ experience in the commercial property leasing environment. Competencies: Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills are essential. Strong administrative skills in a commercial property environment. Proficient in both English and Afrikaans. Computer literate in MS Office. Efficient and detail orientated who can work under pressure in a deadline-orientated environment.
