The Senior Director of Global Technology & Innovation Program Management Operations is responsible for leading, optimizing, and improving divisional shared services. The Senior Director combines financial governance, workforce planning, sourcing, vendor, and partner management. This leader will work closely with UDX Finance, Legal, Talent, and Procurement to align GT&I strategic priorities with UDX and NBCU corporate policies and controls. This executive will provide the GT&I senior leadership with operational health insights plus short- and long-term recommendations for value-based improvements.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Leads the full lifecycle financial processes including data collection, cleansing, tracking, forecasting, consumption, allocation and availability for capital and expense at project, workstream, department and divisional level.
- Leads and administers the end-to-end process by which the divisional project teams fund, track and report on expenditures.
- Partner with UDX Finance review to prepare and conduct periodic reviews for the Global Technology & Innovation senior leadership team.
- In partnership with Global Technology & Innovation Product organization, plans and facilitates the preparation of the divisional annual operating plan.
- Proactively translates incoming project demand into 3rd party provider capacity work orders.
- Maintain tracking of 3rd party capacity (contractors, consultants, work pods, etc.).
- Oversee the process by which RFIs, RFP, MSAs, contracts, work orders, and other commercial documents are drafted, submitted, reviewed, and ultimately executed for Global Technology & Innovation activities.
- Tracks and manages the lifecycle of 3rd party agreements and activities to minimize impact on delivery operations while supporting compliance with UDX and NBCU policy.
- Partner with UDX Sourcing & Procurement to conduct periodic reviews of 3rd party activities, quality and strategic sourcing to accomplish the overall divisional objectives.
- Manage the divisional resource and capacity management processes by which team members and contractors are onboarded and tracked across various operational and departmental workstreams.
- Maintains the headcount tracking and insight reporting based on current state and changes in upcoming demand.
- Partner with UDX Talent & Culture to track and manage divisional compliance with the department for critical UDX initiatives including not limited to NBCU Compliance Training, TSAT, Performance Planning, Rewards and Recognition and in-office requirements.
- Act as an escalation point within Global Technology & Innovation for aid required of other UDX corporate divisions including Legal, Procurement, Talent & Culture (headcount and recruiting related), and Finance.
- Administer and drive the steering committee process within Global Technology & Innovation to track progress, critical action items and status for project and operational work.
- Identify, lead, contribute, and execute process improvement practices across shared services in support of delivery excellence.
- Leverage data and insight from shared services to recommend general divisional improvements.
- Support the implementation and adoption of tools intended to standardize and improve general delivery compliance.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Requirements
~1 min read- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives across divisions and partner organizations.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with project and portfolio financials.
- Strong experience with portfolio and demand management processes, tools and activities
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end financial and procurement processes for third-party software and professional services.
- Excellent analytical/critical thinking and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, concise messages.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver and maintain quality client service.
- Strong financial acumen and proven budget management.
- Demonstrated experience in areas of general management, specifically around team member development, leadership skills, organizational skills, and managing/setting priorities.
- Able to make effective decisions while working through complex programs and business interest related issues.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Undergraduate degree (preferred) in business, engineering, technology, analytics, or related fields;
- or an equivalent combination of education.
- 10+ years in progressive transformation or technology enablement;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in project team leadership and large-scale portfolio planning and implementation.
- Experience in executive communication, relationship building, and decision making.
- Experience transforming teams and turning them into high performing teams
- Preferred: Lean Portfolio certification, Project management/agile certification (PMI, SAFe Agilist or similar) and/or certification in use of specific methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile (CSM), etc.
