Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Lead

The Techno-Functional Lead, Oracle Fusion Financials is a senior role (Senior Consultant / Manager level) that combines functional leadership, solution architecture and design authority, and system administration for Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Portfolio Management, and Fixed Assets across both implementation and steady-state operation.

As functional lead and solution architect, the role owns functional and configuration design for the assigned modules, makes design decisions within program standards, and ensures the subledger-to-ledger accounting flow is correct, controlled, and reconcilable. As an administrator, the role owns ongoing configuration including quarterly Oracle release adoption, support environment and change management.

The role is hands-on: it designs, configures, loads and validates data, builds reports, and resolves issues directly, while directing analysts, consultants, and System Integrator resources within the workstream.

The role reports to the VP, Finance Transformation and Automation and partners with process owners, the accounting and control teams, Technology, third-party providers, and the System Integrator. Deep platform architecture and custom integration development remain with Technology and the System Integrator.

• General Ledger & Financial Structure Chart of accounts, primary and secondary ledgers, accounting calendars, currencies, intercompany, allocations, revaluation, translation, and period close.
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Invoice and payment processing, matching and tolerances, approvals, collections, receipts, subledger accounting rules, and reconciliation to GL.
• Projects & Fixed Assets Project setup, costing and billing, capitalization, asset additions, depreciation, transfers and retirements, and the CIP-to-asset flow.

This role may supervise or coordinate analysts, consultants, and third-party or System Integrator resources within the assigned Oracle workstream. It provides solution and administration leadership across process owners, subject-matter experts, Technology, and third-party providers.

• →Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• →Multiple full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations with design-authority or solution-architect responsibility for Financials (GL, AP, AR), with working knowledge of Projects and Fixed Assets.
• →Senior Consultant or Manager-level experience leading configuration design and administration for the assigned modules.
• →Strong understanding of subledger accounting, chart-of-accounts and ledger design, period close, and subledger-to-GL reconciliation.
• →Hands-on administration experience: security and role design, configuration and change management, and quarterly Oracle release adoption and regression testing.
• →Experience with data conversion using FBDI and ADFDI and report build with OTBI and/or BI Publisher.
• →Strong understanding of financial controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties.
• →Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to direct analysts, consultants, and SI resources.
• →Ability to operate at both architecture/design and detailed, hands-on levels.

• CPA, CMA, or Oracle Cloud certifications in the assigned modules (Financials, General Ledger, Payables, Receivables).
• Experience with Accounting Hub (AHCS) and multi-ledger (primary and secondary) accounting.
• Experience with multi-country, multi-entity, and multi-currency deployments and statutory/localization requirements.
• Experience with EPM and consolidation (FCCS) and SmartView.
• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SQL for data validation.
• Experience in cinema, hospitality, retail, food service, entertainment, or another high-volume, multi-location business a plus.

• Design authority and configuration design across GL, AP, AR, Projects, and Fixed Assets.
• Security, segregation-of-duties, and change-management discipline.
• Quarterly release management and regression testing.
• Data conversion and validation (FBDI/ADFDI) and report build (OTBI/BI Publisher).
• Direction of analysts, consultants, and SI resources.
• Clear communication with accounting, operations, and technical audiences.

• Module design is documented, approved, and built to standard; the subledger-to-GL flow reconciles.
• Converted balances and open items are validated, reconciled, and approved before go-live.
• Financial modules deploy without material disruption to close, payments, receipts, or reporting.
• Quarterly Oracle releases are adopted on schedule with no material regression, and production issues are resolved within agreed service levels.

CPA, CMA, and/or Oracle Cloud certification(s) in the assigned Financials modules preferred.

Should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to: (1) supervise (2) communicate with stakeholders, executives, vendors, etc. Strong written skills and presentation skills.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, Project Portfolio Management, Fixed Assets), Security Console and role design, Functional Setup Manager (FSM) and configuration workbooks, FBDI/ADFDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, advanced Excel and SmartView; SQL and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) familiarity a plus.
