The Accounts Receivable Analyst provides accounting services in the areas of receiving and processing cash items, petty cash and change funds. This role serves as a liaison between the department and the students and all 3rd party vendors. 

  • Process student payments, collect money due and record to student accounts.  Handle student account inquiries, provide customer service for student and other related inquiries
  • Process and record accounts receivable payments
  • Balance daily cash transactions and prepare bank deposits
  • Verify and process interdepartmental deposits from all auxiliary units, cost centers and departments
  • Maintain petty cash and change funds as assigned, verifying daily
  • Maintain accounts receivable billing, returned checks, and installment payment files
  • Process student tuition refund requests
  • Serve as back-up for all 3rd party invoicing
  • Perform collection account review and assist with collection placement with outside agencies 
  • Audit petty cash and change funds assigned to other university offices
  • Reconcile various deposit accounts to General Ledger as assigned

  • Good composition and English skills, proficient in MS Office, calculator and other office machines
  • Ability to follow through on a myriad of details daily 
  • Willingness to accept full responsibility for projects
  • Ability work with minimal supervision
