Responsibilities

→Apply specific knowledge and experience in providing treatment services in a quality manner, following brand protocol and procedures.
→Carry out comprehensive skincare consultation prior to providing facial and waxing treatments, emphasizing product and service features and benefits and encourage guests to purchase products and services appropriate for their needs.
→Assess guest needs through guest analysis and review of guest medical history and specific complaints and problem areas.
→Perform spa services according to owned and assigned area/s of expertise.
→Maintain safety standards and cleanliness, keeping work area clean and equipment properly sanitized without exception.
→Demonstrate impeccable guest service while being courteous and attentive to guest needs.
→Execute services in standard allotted time while maintaining a personalized experience for each guest.
→Create a warm and welcoming environment for all guests.
→Maintain thorough knowledge of spa products and services and provide accurate information to guests.
→Educate guests about home care products and make recommendations based on the individual needs of the guest.
→Drive sales through utilization of upselling techniques.
→Perform spa related tasks such as leading spa tours, folding/restocking linen, light housekeeping, etc.
→Safeguard guest confidentiality and privacy.
→Attend and participate in all trainings and meetings.
→Performs any other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years working in a spa and in-depth knowledge as a Spa Therapist in one of the following areas: massage therapy, skin care/dermatology, nail care, hairdressing, makeup artistry
Formal certification in an area of spa service such as massage therapy, nail care, skin therapy/dermatology, hairdressing, makeup artistry
Excellent customer service, administrative and organizational skills
Ability to perform firm to deep work where applicable
Ability to work with all different types of facial and body products, peels and waxes where applicable
Willingness to demonstrate teamwork through guest service, spa cleanliness, and willingness to help out when needed
Proven problem solving ability
Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations
Must have a pleasant attitude
Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance at all times
Computer proficiency working with Microsoft Office
Ability to work efficiently, at a fast pace in a busy and stressful environment
