Responsibilities

→Maintain up-to-date and accurate logs, records, and machinery history during each shift
→Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned units
→Complete work orders as assigned in a timely manner
→Record all time and materials allocated to project work, maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance
→Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety codes, wearing appropriate safety equipment
→Read schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings necessary to execute duties
→Keeping a record of all day-to-day tasks undertaken in facility
→Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor
→Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment
→Maintain proper maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
→Comply with all corporate policies and occupational safety while carrying out maintenance tasks
→Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions, and maintenance work, and prepares necessary reports
→Ensure all areas are clean and maintained at all times
→Perform painting, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing work as needed
→Ensure all tools and materials are organized and secured
→Completes projects and tasks with minimal oversight and direction
→Other duties assigned by management

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and/or four (4) years experience in an engineering position responsible for all aspects of engineering
Engineering certifications preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Ability to read and write English
Must have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must be a self-starter
Must complete tasks with minimum insight or direction.
