Are you an enthusiastic, customer-focused professional ready to turn your passion for powersports into a high-octane career? RideNow Rattlesnake Mountain Harley-Davidson are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the main bridge between our riders and our service department. You will deliver exceptional customer engagement, build trust through clear communication and accurate estimates, and keep our customers' machines running at peak performance.
- Front-Line Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly as the primary point of contact and guide them through the service, maintenance, and repair process.
- Appointment & Workflow Management: Schedule service appointments for repairs, routine maintenance, and manufacturer safety recalls.
- Accurate Repair Order Creation: Listen carefully to customer needs and accurately document vehicle concerns and symptoms on detailed repair orders for Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and Personal Watercraft.
- Customer Education & Cost Estimates: Educate customers on required or recommended maintenance, provide clear cost estimates, and promote current promotions or auxiliary services.
- Timely Service Updates: Monitor repair progress in the shop and proactively communicate status updates, additional recommended work, or unexpected delays to customers and the Service Manager.
- Final Delivery & Quality Assurance: Review completed repair orders with customers upon pickup, answer technical questions, explain work performed, and ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Department Collaboration: Perform other related operational duties as required to maintain a seamless, high-performing service center.
- Industry Experience: 1+ years of experience in a powersports or automotive dealership service environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of delivering top-tier customer service.
- Technical Writing & Order Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and thorough service repair orders.
- Multitasking Excellence: Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Essential Function — Valid Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. In compliance with WA SSB 5501, operating, maneuvering, staging, and road-testing motor vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs across dealership lots and service bays is verified as an essential core function of this position.
- Endorsement: Motorcycle endorsement preferred.
- Physical Stamina & Environmental Comfort: Physical ability to stand for extended periods, navigate indoor/outdoor showroom lots and service bays, and work comfortably in a high-energy environment with motorcycle V-Twin engine noise.
