About the Role

The GSOC Supervisor provides operational leadership and oversight within the Global Security Operations Center, helping ensure the safety and security of company personnel, assets, and operations. This role is responsible for monitoring security systems, communicating with field Security Officers and Specialists, coordinating calls for service, responding to security-related incidents, and ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • →Provide strong leadership to Security Operations Center Operators.
  • →Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to improve operator skill sets and ensure high-quality work.
  • →Ensure accountability, attendance, and punctuality of Security Operations Center Operators.
  • →Manage scheduling for team members.
  • →May perform the duties of a superior in their absence, when appointed by the management team.
  • →Participate in new hire orientation and present information to new employees.
  • →Participate in daily briefings and provide valuable input.
  • →Provide security monitoring and incident response for security events within a highly available Security Operations Center supporting internal and external customers.
  • →Monitor internal and external security systems and identify potential security threats or incidents.
  • →Monitor and analyze Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) alerts to identify security issues, support remediation, and investigate events and incidents.
  • →Investigate, document, and report information security issues, incidents, and emerging trends.
  • →Handle multiple emergency situations and prioritize competing incidents effectively.
  • →Classify the nature of calls and determine the appropriate priority and response.
  • →Generate alarm reports and maintain accurate records of security events and activities.
  • →Assist emergency service units in the field by securing and verifying information through computers, department files, records, and other available data sources.
  • →Operate two-way radios to relay instructions and information to remote units.
  • →Operate recorders, video monitoring displays, computer-aided dispatch (CAD) equipment/software, and other dispatch-related systems.
  • →Set, understand, and track team OKRs and KPIs, including completing end-of-month reporting.
  • →Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall Security Operations Center performance.
  • →Perform other related duties as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a public emergency services field or agency (police, fire, or ambulance dispatch), private security, armed forces, IT, or another related field preferred.
  • Military experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree or relevant certification in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with mass communication systems, access control, CCTV, and other security technologies preferred.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification required.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
  • Ability to make rapid, accurate decisions, often with limited information.
  • Ability to triage and resolve emergency incidents while remaining calm and professional in high-stress situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with limited supervision.
  • Ability to set, understand, and track team OKRs and KPIs.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present new hire orientation materials and provide training on software platforms used across the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a strong commitment to professionalism and service.
  • Motivated, engaged, and ambitious with an interest in building a long-term career in security operations.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a thorough background screening, which may include criminal history, motor vehicle records, credit history, education verification, previous employment and reference checks, and a drug screening.

Requirements

  • Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 Pounds)
  • Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
  • Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures
  • PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
  • Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
  • Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
