The Carrier Buying Specialist is responsible for providing support and commercial focus to network procurement and carrier management.

Assess the technical requirements of internal requests to determine the required third party services

Execute, follow through, and complete inquiries with Domestic partners accurately, and on a timely basis

Actively negotiate to achieve desired costs in accordance with set standards

Support and work closely with other departments to meet sales needs

Assistance and coordination on activation/deactivation requirements

Provide administrative support such as updating systems and reporting

Work with internal teams to achieve company objectives

Maintain database for Domestic Carriers interconnects

Punctual settlement of inter-domestic carriers accounts

Validates and ensures accuracy statements from interconnecting carriers – monthly incoming statement of accounts

Preferably with 1 year of experience working in the telecommunications industry with inclination towards networking

With working technical knowledge of telecommunications industry, carrier guidelines, and network products

Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners

Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to investigate concerns and solve them in a timely manner, while maintaining a positive attitude

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and easily adaptable to change and work under tight deadlines.
