Quality Control Manager

The Quality Control Manager leads all inspection, verification, and product conformance activities within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily quality control operations, drives customer and supplier quality performance, and develops a strong, high-performing quality control team.

• →Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
• →Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits
• →Manage document control and quality records
• →Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process
• →Lead containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activities
• →Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
• →Ensure calibration compliance, gage control, and testing effectiveness
• →Monitor special processes and product conformance
• →Manage nonconforming material and product control processes
• →Support domestic customers and domestic product quality performance
• →Analyze and report quality metrics including FPY, DPPM, audit results, and nonconformance trends
• →Develop, coach, and lead Quality Inspectors, Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors

• →Place product on hold
• →Stop shipments for quality concerns
• →Reject nonconforming material
• →Convene and lead MRB reviews
• →Escalate quality and compliance risks

• →Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience
• →5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• →Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing, inspection methods, and corrective action processes
• →Experience with calibration systems, gage control, and quality data analysis
• →Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• →Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• →ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA)
• →Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• →Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or assembly manufacturing
