Tuning & Repair Technician - WINTER

Description

• Assist customers with tuning and repair needs as well as provide education and diagnosis with a high degree of customer service. 
• Properly use and maintain necessary machinery and equipment.
•  Work on all indemnified ski bindings. Perform pre-season/in-season testing under direction of Tuning and Repair Supervisor.
• Maintain and repair rental equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean Rental & Repair Shop environment.
• Open, close and operate register according to proper procedures. 
• Perform daily assignments with accuracy.
• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance. 

• Must have service oriented personality. 
• Prior ski tuning experience desired. 
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to set and meet high customer service standards. 
• Must have detailed knowledge of all procedures and operations involved in equipment rental and tuning. 
• Must have current knowledge on operation and construction of ski and snowboard equipment. 
• Must become certified and competent in working on all indemnified ski bindings.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
• Must be able to work in tight space with balance.
• Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
