Experienced Equipment Operator

Experience with loaders, forklifts, construction equipment, material-handling machinery, or similar equipment

Strong understanding of safe equipment operation

Ability to perform and document basic pre-use equipment inspections

Experience working around moving machinery and other industrial hazards

Ability to follow written and verbal operating instructions

Strong situational awareness and attention to surroundings

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers

Willingness to perform physical work in addition to equipment operation

Experience in railroad operations, construction, manufacturing, mining, industrial maintenance, material handling, or heavy equipment operations is especially relevant.

This is a hands-on outdoor industrial position, not a climate-controlled warehouse job.

Employees must be comfortable working around active railroad tracks, railcars, heavy machinery, vehicles, and mechanical operations. Work may be performed outdoors throughout the year in heat, cold, rain, wind, and other changing weather conditions.
