What We Offer
~1 min readThe Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Pricing Team—the team responsible for developing customer savings strategies and driving RoadRunner’s profitability for all prospective accounts. The Pricing Analyst will collect, organize, and utilize a wide variety of information and resources to analyze the expected costs and revenues of potential business relationships.
This role requires the Analyst to quickly develop expertise in the waste & recycling brokering industry. The core function is to analyze every detail of a customer’s operation to achieve cost reduction, waste diversion, and profit growth. Success depends on critical thinking, efficient communication, and creative problem-solving while managing a high volume of concurrent accounts, requiring disciplined multitasking and prioritization.

- Interacts with: Sales, Sales Operations, Data, Account Strategy
Requirements

- Analytical Decision Making: Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make prudent, timely decisions and act with sound judgment despite ambiguity or incomplete information
- Accountability & Ownership: Passionate about business results and quality, demonstrating a strong sense of accountability, metrics, and ownership
- Strategic & Adaptable: A strategic thinker with the ability to grasp tactical details, who remains comfortable and effective amidst constant change in a fluid, dynamic working environment
- Communication & Collaboration: Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings, facilitate internal meetings, and collaborate effectively across all functions.
- Prioritization & Organization: Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects, and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel or similar analytical platforms.
- Learning Agility: Exhibits high curiosity, proactively seeks out information, and demonstrates the aptitude and drive to rapidly absorb new skills and complex industry knowledge.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analysis, Supply Chain or similar field of study. An associate degree and/or relevant work experience can be substituted
