The People Operations team combines expertise in strategy, process, tooling and insights to create solutions that simplify work and help every Hoodie succeed. As our workforce evolves, we are strengthening how we manage and scale our extended workforce globally.
As a Contingent Workforce Planning Partner, you will lead the strategy and day-to-day operations of our Extended Workforce (XWF) program as we re-establish and scale this function within People Operations. You will oversee the full lifecycle of contingent workers, from budget intake through offboarding, while implementing systems and processes that improve visibility, compliance, and efficiency. This role partners closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business leaders to ensure workforce decisions are informed by accurate data and aligned with company priorities. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the full lifecycle of the extended workforce program, from budget approval and worker onboarding to offboarding and documentation management.
- →Lead the implementation of a new Vendor Management System (VMS), including structured change plans, stakeholder communication, and adoption tracking.
- →Redesign and manage the Preferred Vendor program, establishing clear performance metrics, governance standards, and review cadences.
- →Maintain accurate extended workforce data, including service periods, end dates, and worker classifications, to support compliance, audit readiness, and workforce reporting.
- →Develop scalable reporting dashboards and program metrics that provide leaders with actionable insights for workforce planning and cost management.
- →Partner with Finance and Legal to manage extended workforce considerations during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
- →Create and deliver training materials and a centralized knowledge base to guide internal teams and external suppliers on extended workforce processes and systems.
- →Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities that increase efficiency and strengthen program controls.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing extended workforce programs, business operations, or related functions such as HR, Finance, or Procurement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, suppliers, and internal partners.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and experience building structured reports or dashboards that inform business decisions.
- Experience improving processes or implementing new tools that increase operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with HRIS and procurement systems such as Workday and Coupa.
- Working knowledge of global and regional compliance requirements related to contingent or extended workforce programs.
- Experience supporting workforce planning in a growing international organization.

The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
