Principal QA Architect – Automation & AI

Role Overview 

As a Principal Quality Engineering Architect at Roboyo, you will lead quality transformation engagements for our enterprise customers. You will run quality and test automation assessments, craft tailored Quality Engineering strategies, build reusable assets / AI agents and support end-to-end engagement executions with Test Automation and AI, especially using the UiPath Test Cloud and related tools. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Act as a strategic advisor and lead enterprise-wide Quality Engineering assessments, identify maturity gaps, and define comprehensive test automation roadmaps aligned with business ROI. 

• Design and implement Automation Architecture with robust, tailored test automation frameworks across UI, API, and data layers, heavily leveraging UiPath Test Cloud and emerging AI products/tools. 

• Oversee phased implementation plans, establish KPIs, and ensure seamless integration with modern Agile/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Build reusable test automation assets with leading testing and AI platforms/tools to aid delivery and sales efforts. 

• Run executive workshops, act as a trusted advisor throughout the automation journey, and mentor both internal and client QA teams. 

• Manage onsite and offshore delivery teams to ensure successful project execution 

• Support presales efforts with proposals and technical demos. 

• Provide thought leadership and mentoring to both internal teams and client QA teams on best practices in QE. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 12+ years of experience in QA/QE with progressive roles in strategy consulting and enterprise QA transformation. 

• Experience in driving client consulting engagements in a client-facing role working with executive stakeholders 

• Enterprise Experience in building and delivering QA assessments, QA strategy, and delivery roadmap. 

• Proven hands-on experience with UiPath Test Cloud (Studio Pro, Orchestrator for testing, Test Manager) or equivalent leading automation platforms 

• Contributed to pre-salas work  

• Deep understanding of automation frameworks and test design techniques (keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid). 

• Experience of building reusable assets, particularly with emerging AI tools. 

• Solid grasp of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD integration patterns. 

• Strong presentation, documentation, and workshop facilitation capabilities. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• UiPath certification (e.g., UiPath Certified Test Suite Specialist) highly desirable. 

• Domain expereince in regulated industries like Insurance & BFSI, Life Sciences or Manufacturing is a plus. 

• Familiarity with complementary tools like Tosca, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Azure DevOps.
