About the Role

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for upselling and supporting customers with technical inquiries and building rapport through phone interaction.


  Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with equipment knowledge and upsell them on our offerings and end-to-end solutions.
  • Accurately capture the details of each order to ensure a seamless handoff to the rental coordinator.
  • Answer all phone calls and email inquiries from current and prospective customers.
  • Generate leads for new business, especially for Rocx Breaker and Rocx Attach, through telemarketing and email introductory communications.
  • Communicate leads and opportunities with Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Build rapport with current and prospective customers through phone interaction and product education.
  • Support independent sales reps and supply them with marketing material and inside sales support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Sales/Rental Manager.
  • Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities.

 

  Required Skills / Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 5 years' experience in an inside sales role, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
  • Prior experience working with a variety of construction equipment is a plus.
  • Exceptional phone skills and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Highly competent computer and typing skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Excel in a fast-paced, highly urgent environment.
  • The desire to learn about new equipment and systems.
  • Verifiable references and a good work history.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
