Rose Companies is currently offering an internship in our Fund Accounting Group, which will offer the individual hands on experience and the opportunity to work on various projects including quarterly reporting, cash management compliance, financial analysis and ad hoc projects. Interns will gain exposure to a wide range of processes within the Accounting Group throughout their internship}.
As part of this endeavor, we are seeking a Part-Time Fund Accounting Intern who will represent the financial goals and social and environmental mission of Rose Companies.
The hourly rate for this position will be $30 per hour based upon factors including but not limited to related experience and time in the industry. This role will work between 10-20 hours per week.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts, cash bank accounts and monthly property packages
- Ensure property monthly packages agree to ledger and supporting documentations
- Assist with data validation for fund accounting consolidation software
- Work with senior staff accountants on various financial projects
The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent professional demeanor with the ability to work with a wide range of levels of management. Candidates should have strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in real estate.
Education or experience in the disciplines of accounting, business and finance preferred.
