Assistant Production Manager

As an Assistant Production Manager, you will support landscape construction operations by helping coordinate crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and schedules to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and according to company standards. This role is designed for an emerging leader who is eager to learn all aspects of landscape installation operations and develop the leadership, operational, and project management skills needed to grow into a Production Manager role.  Working closely with the Production Manager, Project Manager, and field teams, you will gain hands-on experience in production planning, team leadership, safety, quality control, and customer service while contributing to the successful execution of commercial landscape installation projects.

• →Basic understanding of landscape installation, construction practices, equipment operations, or field operations preferred
• →Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents preferred
• →Ability to accomplish multiple tasks while maintaining productivity, organization, accuracy, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• →Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly and support day-to-day operational decision-making
• →Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal staff
• →Highly organized with strong time management, planning, and prioritization skills
• →Ability to build positive working relationships with co-workers, vendors, subcontractors, and customers through professionalism and responsiveness
• →Positive attitude, strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to project a professional image in all interactions
• →A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past three years (required) 
• →Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with construction or project management software is a plus
