Veterinary Receptionist

We are a privately-owned veterinary clinic seeking an outgoing, mature, dedicated and compassionate customer service-oriented individual to join our awesome veterinary team! Previous office and customer service experience is preferred, but the position will be offered to the individual who best fits our company philosophy. This position entails working directly with our clients to ensure that all of their pet's health care needs are satisfied. It also involves working with computerized patient records, scheduling appointments, post-appointment client interactions and other responsibilities required for the position. If you are a reliable, outgoing, friendly person who is dedicated to helping pets and their people, then this might just be the perfect job for you! Responsibilities include:

• greeting clients with a smiling face
• processing incoming calls
• answer phone calls, which may include answering questions
• screening and scheduling appointments
• handling incoming and outgoing calls
• handling prescriptions
• entering data into a computerized billing system
• process credit card payments
• retrieve prescriptions
• maintaining cleanliness of exam rooms, lobby and lobby restrooms
