About India Partner Network

India Partner Network (IPN) is a tech-enabled platform incubated by Sattva Consulting to make institutional capacity building more accessible to small and mid-sized NGOs in India. Since its launch in August 2023, IPN has grown into an ecosystem of 4,000+ NGOs, 6,000+ users, and a growing network of partners and service providers. IPN supports NGOs through knowledge resources, capacity building events, assessments, service provider discovery, and ecosystem connections.
IPN is now entering its next phase of growth as it transitions into an independent Section 8 entity, ReadyNext IPN Foundation. This is a unique opportunity to join early and help shape the voice, positioning, and platform growth in India’s nonprofit ecosystem.

The Opportunity

Over the last two and a half years, the platform has grown from an early platform idea into a national digital first ecosystem reaching thousands of NGOs users and over a hundred service provider partners across India. Our next challenge is to build IPN into a trusted, recognisable, high-engagement brand that small and mid-sized NGOs actively use to become institutionally stronger.
That is where this role comes in. We are looking for a Growth Communications Lead (Senior Consultant) who can help turn IPN’s platform, products, insights, and ecosystem work into a strong market-facing narrative, and brand and communications strategy. This is a role for someone who can think like a marketer, write like a storyteller, and execute like a builder. You will help shape how IPN is understood by NGOs, partners, donors, and the larger development ecosystem. You will move IPN towards from ad hoc announcements to sharp engagement building campaigns, from product updates to adoption journeys, and from scattered stories to evidence-backed positioning.
This is not a routine communications role. It sits at the intersection of building brand, product marketing, platform adoption and ecosystem orchestration storytelling - all through platform data, user engagement and feedback and learnings from the ground. It is a chance to build the voice of a platform that is working to make nonprofit capacity building more accessible, discoverable and actionable at scale.

What you will own

Platform Product Brand and Narrative
-- Shape IPN’s communication and positioning, build clear, credible messaging around IPN’s role in enabling NGO institutional readiness.
-- Translate complex capacity building concepts into simple, accessible language.
-- Create communication frameworks for different audiences (NGOs, partners, and donors).
-- Support website copy, decks, concept notes, blogs, newsletters and leadership communication.

Campaigns and Platform Adoption
-- Design and execute campaigns for IPN’s key products, including Events and Campaigns, Assessments, Directory, Resources, and Organisation Profiles.
-- Build communication journeys across email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram.
-- Move IPN’s communication towards structured campaigns that drive registration, activation, repeat engagement and action.
-- Develop segmented communication for NGOs based on interests, maturity, geography, language, behaviour, or capacity building needs.
-- Build a distribution strategy focused on understanding channels (including regional audience), developing partnerships, and optimizing engagement across them to effectively reach specific audience segments.
-- Work closely with the platform products, donors and partnerships teams to convert IPN’s offerings into clear campaign propositions.

Content and Thought Leadership
-- Create high-quality content across formats: social media posts, emails, blogs, case stories, website copy, newsletters, decks, and campaign assets.
-- Build IPN’s voice as a trusted connector and capacity building platform for NGOs.
-- Package insights from IPN’s events, assessments, platform data, user feedback, and partner work into compelling content.
-- Develop 3–5 strong evidence stories each quarter that demonstrate how IPN is creating value for NGOs and the larger ecosystem.
-- Support donor and partner facing storytelling where needed.
-- Engage with Sattva and other IPN strategic partners to build collaborative thought leadership pieces.

Partner and Ecosystem Amplification
-- Work with IPN ecosystem partners to amplify IPN’s campaigns and reach.
-- Support communication for partner led initiatives.
-- Identify relevant opportunities for PR, ecosystem visibility, newsletters, panels, and sector conversations.
-- Create communication toolkits and standard messaging that partners can easily use to promote IPN offerings.

Performance and Learning

-- Track basic campaign and content performance across channels.
-- Monitor metrics such as registrations, click-throughs, engagement, activation, repeat participation, and content-to-action conversion.
-- Use data from email, social media, website, and platform behaviour to improve campaigns.
-- Create monthly learning notes on what is working, what is not, and what should change.
-- Work with the IPN product team to build repeatable communication playbooks.
-- Align IPN content reposting with Sattva Marketing and IPN strategic partner editorial calendar to maintain collective narratives.
