Sr Software Engineer - Platform & AI

The Innovation Lab at ADI Distribution is not an experimental unit - it is a transformation engine, built to deliver unique technological solutions that reshape how the company operates. Every solution created here is designed for the specific challenges of the B2B distribution and eCommerce business - built from scratch, tailored, and deeply aware of the context in which it must operate. 

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who participates in the development of solutions- from system architecture to final deployment into production. 

Someone who understands the business context as well as the code they write, and who is comfortable making decisions independently while collaborating closely with a small, high-performing team. 

• Translate business requirements into concrete technical models and independently make architectural decisions 
• Direct collaboration with business stakeholders - clear communication, asking the right questions, managing expectations, and reporting to senior leadership 
• Design and develop complex end-to-end systems - REST and event-driven APIs, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment as a unified system 
• Design and implement AI-enabled capabilities - integration of LLMs, RAG architecture, agent-based systems, and AI workflow automation directly into production applications 
• Rapidly build PoCs and MVPs using modern backend and frontend technologies, while clearly assessing technical debt and the path to production 
• Advance digital eCommerce initiatives within ADI's B2B distribution context - ideation, prototyping, and delivery of solutions that improve speed, quality, and scalability of digital delivery 
• Take full ownership of features from concept to production - architecture, implementation, testing, and monitoring 

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in at least one production-grade programming language (.NET, Java, Python, or equivalent) 
• Minimum 3 + years of experience designing and developing scalable API systems (REST/GraphQL) 
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or equivalent) and building user-facing applications 
• Experience with event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent) and asynchronous processing 
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI), and Infrastructure as Code as part of daily work 
• Experience in integrating LLMs into production applications (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or open-source models) 
• Knowledge of RAG approaches, vector databases, and embedding pipelines 
• Technical background with experience in B2B eCommerce technology and digital platforms 
• Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional digital initiatives with minimal oversight 
• Proven ability to work in small teams where initiative and high autonomy are expected from everyone 

• Deep understanding of modern software architectures and the ability to critically evaluate technical approaches 
• Hands-on experience with AI and emerging technologies in production environments — not just theoretical knowledge 
• Demonstrated expertise working across product, engineering, and operations teams in an Agile environment
