The Longmont, Colorado office is seeking an Entry-Level (Staff) Civil Engineer with an interest in hydraulics and hydrology (H&H) and water resources engineering. We are looking for motivated candidates with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to a variety of dam and water resources projects in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

→Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and engineering calculations for water resources and dam engineering projects.
→Develop computer models, engineering reports, drawings, and technical documentation under the supervision of senior staff.
→Participate in field investigations, inspections, and data collection activities.
→Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support project delivery.
→Assist with proposal preparation, technical research, and other project-related activities.
→Continue developing technical expertise through training, mentorship, and hands-on project experience.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
0-2 years of relevant professional experience in water resources, hydraulics, hydrology, dams, or related engineering work.
Familiarity with hydraulic and hydrologic principles and engineering analysis methods.
Strong interest or background in water rights/water resources engineering, hydraulics/hydrology, or agricultural engineering
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Positive attitude
Ability to multi-task 
Strong work ethic and a desire for continual self-improvement
Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including office and field work

The compensation range for this position is between $62,400 to $86,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
