Hotel Housekeeping Room Inspector

Collegiate Hotel Group®, is seeking a Rooms Inspector to join Graduate by Hilton Ann Arbor and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Inspects all assigned rooms to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair 

• Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department  

• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniform 

• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis 

• Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately.  

• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning 

• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary 

• Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing the hotel’s lost and found procedures 

• Other duties as assigned 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• Housekeeping experience   

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

• Ability to multi-task  

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing  

• Leadership skills  

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and associates 

• Knowledge of cleanliness standards  

• Available to work weekends, and holidays as needed
