Remote Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Credentialed veterinary technicians (CVT/LVT/RVT) with at least 1 year of clinical experience to work REMOTE FROM HOME, handling high-pressure calls, and supporting pet owners through stressful situations. Emergency/critical care experience is a plus for some roles.

Pet Poison Helpline (PPH) Representative II
With a high level of professionalism and customer service, handle incoming calls and chats about toxic exposures, poisonings, and general care questions related to pets. Triage cases; provide accurate medical, health, and safety information and document records in electronic database.

Full-Time Evening (+$2/hr shift differential):

• Work 40 hours/week, 4 shifts/week, 10.5 hours each
• Varying shifts between 2pm-2:30am CST
• Scheduled every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and rotating holidays
• Work weeks run Saturday-Friday

Full-Time Float (+$3/hr shift differential):

• Work 40 hours/week, 4 shifts/week, 10.5 hours each
• Varying shifts between 5am-2:30am CST

Part-Time Evening:

Veterinary Information Specialist (VIS) II - Overnight Team
With a high level of professionalism and customer service, handle incoming calls and chats about toxic exposures, poisonings, adverse events, and general care questions related to pets. Triage cases; provide accurate medical, health, and safety information and document records in electronic database.

Full-Time Overnight (+$5/hr shift differential):

• Work rotation: Week 1: Tuesday-Friday Week 2: Saturday, Wednesday-Friday
• Shifts are 10 hours long scheduled from 9pm-7am CST
• Work any holiday that falls on their regular rotation
• Work weeks run Saturday-Friday

• Base rate of $20-21/hr + applicable shift differentials as noted per position/schedule
• $5/hr weekend shift differential for phone hours worked between 12am CST Saturday-4am CST Monday on top of base and other differentials

Pay is discussed individually and is based on education, experience, and credentials.

4–6 weeks paid, full time training (40 hours/week). Hours vary and may include days, mids and evening shifts. Training schedules are set in advance and no conflicts can be accommodated during this period.

• Active CVT/LVT/RVT license with at least 1 year of veterinary clinic/hospital experience; maintain active licensure throughout employment
• Ability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills (Microsoft Office and common software)
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional, empathetic, and composed under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry; ability to multitask while maintaining quality
• Math proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, and divide across all units of measure including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex or diverse information
• Ability to follow and apply instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Customer service-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to caller well-being
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, product, and company information
