About the Role
~1 min readScorpion is looking for a Sales Account Executive to drive new business growth within the pest control industry through our AI powered marketing and technology platform. This is a true hunter role where you'll build your own pipeline, develop relationships with business owners, and own the sales process from prospecting through close.
We're looking for someone who understands the challenges of running a pest control business and can confidently have strategic conversations about lead generation, marketing ROI, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Whether you've sold software, route management, CRM, equipment, chemicals, distribution, or other business solutions to pest control companies, your industry expertise is what matters most.

Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Own the Full Sales Cycle: Generate and close new business by owning the sales process from prospecting through discovery, demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and close.
- →Build Your Own Pipeline: Develop new opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic business development. Success in this role comes from consistently creating your own pipeline.
- →Sell to Business Owners: Build trusted relationships with pest control owners, operators, and executive decision makers by understanding their goals and presenting solutions that drive measurable business growth.
- →Leverage Your Industry Expertise: Use your knowledge of the pest control industry to identify business challenges and recommend AI powered marketing and technology solutions that help customers generate higher quality leads, improve conversion rates, maximize marketing ROI, and grow revenue.
- →Deliver Results: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly recurring revenue goals through a consultative, solution based sales approach while maintaining an accurate forecast and healthy pipeline.
- →Continuously Improve Seek coaching, embrace feedback, and stay current on pest control and digital marketing trends to continuously improve your sales performance.
- →Become a Product Expert: Develop expertise in Scorpion's RevenueMAX platform, including AI powered advertising, lead management, websites, SEO, reputation management, revenue intelligence, and customer engagement solutions. Conduct discovery calls, customize demonstrations, and recommend solutions that align with each customer's business goals.
- →Deliver Results Consistently achieve and exceed monthly recurring revenue goals through a consultative, solution based sales approach while maintaining an accurate forecast and healthy pipeline.
- →Continuously Improve: Seek coaching, embrace feedback, and stay current on pest control industry trends, AI, and digital marketing innovations to continuously improve your sales performance.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience
- 4+ years of full cycle B2B sales experience in a quota carrying role with responsibility for prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing new business.
- 2+ years in Pest Control Industry selling software, technology, marketing, equipment, chemicals, distribution, route management, CRM, or other business solutions directly to pest control companies. You understand the challenges business owners face and can speak their language.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas while independently developing and closing new client relationships. Experience earning promotions, sales recognition, or President's Club is a plus.

You'll develop expertise in our AI powered marketing platform, consultative sales methodology, and the pest control industry while learning from experienced sales leaders and peers.
- Build Momentum: Begin prospecting, building your pipeline, conducting discovery meetings, and delivering tailored demonstrations with ongoing coaching and support from your manager and enablement team.
- Ramp to Success: Build the confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills needed to achieve full quota within your first three months while continuing to receive coaching and professional development.

For positions designated as remote, employees who live within commuting distance of a Scorpion office may be asked to work from the office based on team needs, collaboration opportunities, or business priorities.
