The Buyer plays a key role in supporting the purchasing function at Securitas Technology Ireland, placing purchase orders, maintaining availability systems, and communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and business continuity.

Level 8 IIPMM Or APICS, or similar professional college education with a strong emphasis on purchasing.

  Create purchase orders and expedite suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods and smooth invoice matching.

  Maintain supplier and purchasing records, including lead times, pricing, and material availability.

• →

  Support stores and purchasing activities to meet operational requirements.

• →

  Communicate with internal customers regarding delivery schedules and material availability to achieve service performance targets.

  Complete day-to-day administrative tasks supporting supply chain and purchasing operations.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in purchasing and administrative roles.

• Good working knowledge of stock control and purchasing processes within ERP systems.

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive, reliable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Flexible, hands-on approach to supporting business needs.

• Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and high service standards.
