As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Response in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. • →Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• →Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• →Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• →Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and emergency protocols.
• →Maintain required reports and activity logs, and handle authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
