As a Security Officer for Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- →Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements; report access concerns and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
- →Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site management, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
