Responsibilities

  • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • →Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • →Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures.
  • →Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • →Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
