As a Security Officer Full Time Security Examiner in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener supporting a government location, you will operate screening equipment, inspect individuals and property, monitor access points, and report suspicious activity. You will help maintain a secure environment through professional communication, visible presence, and outstanding customer service. • →Screen visitors, employees, contractors, and/or deliveries entering a government law-enforcement facility in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• →Operate screening equipment and conduct access-control checks to identify prohibited items and help maintain an orderly entry process.
• →Verify identification, credentials, appointments, and/or visitor authorizations; provide directions and customer service to the public.
• →Respond to screening alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• →Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation while following applicable policies and procedures.

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
