As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication skills and technology to support daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

• →Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• →Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• →Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, hazardous conditions, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
