Responsibilities

  • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
  • →Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • →Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • →Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • →Report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, unauthorized entry attempts, and other security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
