As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and shipments. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns. • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• →Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, driver, and contractor entry records in accordance with site requirements.
• →Help control access to the facility, including vehicle gates, employee entrances, trailer yard areas, and restricted operational spaces.
• →Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading or trailer yard areas; document observations and report unusual activity.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
