As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a utility location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- →Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- →Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
- →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
- →Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.
Requirements
~1 min read- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
