• →

  Monitor vehicle traffic, equipment movement, and ensure compliance with airport regulations.

• →

  Conduct regular patrols and monitor restricted and controlled areas.

• →

  Verify airport restricted area passes using mobile access control technology.

• →

  Enforce airport security procedures and applicable regulations.

• →

  Monitor and report safety concerns, including wildlife activity, fuel spills, smoking violations, and waste management issues.

• →

  Inspect security systems, including doors, cameras, and access points.

• →

  Assist with crowd control and maintain public safety within passenger areas.

• →

  Support emergency response teams and escort emergency vehicles when required.

• →

  Conduct vehicle inspections, issue reports, and complete required documentation.

• →

  Assist with explosive trace detection equipment as required.

• →

  Escort unauthorized personnel from restricted areas.

• →

  Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable employment history.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Fully bilingual in French and English (French considered the first language).

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Intermediate computer skills and ability to use site-specific security technology.

• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency or high-pressure situations.

• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and occasionally lift/carry up to 20 kg.

• Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
