The Clinical Support Specialist III is responsible for performing work in the clinical and administrative areas of the practice as needed. Completes initial patient clinical assessment. Performs and documents all office procedures (EKG, stress test, eye exam, ear irrigation, strep, urine, flu, blood collection, etc.) Performs needed immunizations and provide preventative services according to practice standing orders. Assists provider by working within their scope of competence to fill in medications, place orders, complete in-basket tasks, return patient phone calls and other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
• High school education or equivalent required.
•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in South Carolina.
