ServiceMaster of Salem, Corvallis, Eugene, and Lincoln City is looking for an organized, dependable, and people-oriented HR Administrator to join our team!

Based at our Salem home office, this position will provide HR support across all four locations. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, solving problems, and helping things run smoothly. This is a hands-on role with a variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full hiring process, including job postings, applicant communication, interviews, offers, background checks, new hire paperwork, system setup, and first-day preparation.

  • Employee Support: Serve as a resource for employees and managers, assisting with day-to-day HR questions, employee relations, and administrative needs.

  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential personnel files, HR documentation, and employee tracking.

  • Uniforms & Company Phones: Coordinate employee uniform orders and replacements, as well as company cell phone setup, troubleshooting, and account issues.

  • Leave Administration: Manage the employer side of workers' compensation claims and Oregon Paid Leave, including reporting, documentation, communication, and follow-up. Coordinate medical leaves, other leaves of absence, and return-to-work processes.

  • HR Operations: Monitor deadlines, ensure HR processes are completed accurately and on time, and help identify opportunities to improve procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR, recruiting, human resources administration, or a related administrative role.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable attitude.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company systems quickly.

  • Experience with workers' compensation, leave administration, or recruiting is a plus.
