Policy Planning, Assistant Manager/Manager (Network Project Office)

• →Work closely with other government agencies and Industry to ensure the effective implementation of mitigation measures against scam calls and messages;
• →Assist to implement strategy to engage telco regulators and facilitate international cooperation to address the issue of scams at source;
• →Perform horizon scanning of anti-scam development and other network defence measures and analyse the impact of these developments on IMDA’s regulatory and market policy; Play an advisory role to other business units within IMDA regarding existing policy positions and new areas of policy work in the telecom and media space for scams;
• →Organise and provide secretariate support for workgroups and forums.

• Background in Computer Science, Social Sciences, Mass Communications or Legal Studies.
• At least 2 years of experience in an operations policy or technology policy related role in the private or public sectors. Job grade commensurate based on level of relevant work experience.
• Strong interest in preventing scams and good knowledge of how telco operator and internet service providers operate.
• Strong analytical, inter-personal and writing skills.
• Experience in Public Policy, Horizon Scanning, Strategic Futures work would be advantageous.
