Job Description

Strategic planning and research 

• →Undertake environmental scanning and sectoral research to identify emerging trends and build competitive value propositions for Community Chest
• →Develop datadriven, competitive value propositions that strengthen Community Chest's market position
• →Formulate strategy and strategic initiatives to address structural issues in the sector/landscape

Partnership and Policy development 

• →Develop comprehensive business analysis that transforms challenges into opportunities for growth
• →Build and nurture strategic partnerships to advance philanthropy efforts in Singapore
• →Draft policy papers on philanthropy-related issues
• →Create strategic messaging to position Community Chest as the choice philanthropic partner for the social service sector
• →Lead projects and assignments as and when needed

Personal Competencies

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to details
• Results-driven self starter with proven ability to identify opportunities and drive projects to completion

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Knowledge of social service/fundraising landscape will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in strategic planning or policy development
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Public sector experience will be an added advantage
