Day Supports Job Coach

• Full-time position, 40 hours/week, may include some evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• $19.25/hr
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or autism preferred; receive ACRE or CESP certification within 60 days of hire
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates highly preferred
• Support people with disabilities as they enter the workforce, working with them to maintain competitive integrated employment, learn job tasks and adjust to their new role

• Be an advocate; gauge challenges and develop strategies to overcome

• Facilitate trainings for tasks specific to the individual’s job

• Collaborate and liaise with employers to provide a positive work environment

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation 

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of good driving experience with your license, and must meet our driver eligibility criteria 

• Basic computer skills required
  

Education requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience working with adults with ID/A in employment settings   
• OR a bachelor’s degree in psychology, disability services, social services, business, education, or other related field
