Our student engineering program offers hands-on experience across multiple disciplines in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Interns and co-ops gain exposure to real-world projects, technical challenges, and cross-functional collaboration—building a strong foundation for future careers.

• Design tools and fixtures using AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Support continuous improvement and production troubleshooting
• Create and revise operator instructions
• Assist with asset management, safety audits, and plant layout planning

• Gain exposure to Shape’s Product Development processes, including SPMP, enterProj, Plex, and Smartsheet systems
• Learn the fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing development
• Work with Teamcenter and VisMockUp to manage and visualize product data
• Assist in the creation and review of key engineering documents such as DFMEA, DVP&R, and technical drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product design and process development initiatives

• →Create technical documentation and present findings
• →Take on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Education & Experience

• →Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited program
• →Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• →Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• →Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• →Comfortable working independently and in collaborative teams
