We are looking for an Associate Creative Director, Copy to help invent what Ninja sounds like next.
This is a role for a conceptual leader who does not just write campaigns. You define product identities, shape positioning from day one, and build ideas that drive demand across the entire funnel.
You will partner closely with product, insights, and marketing from the earliest stages, influencing what we make, how we name it, and why it matters.
You think in platforms, not posts. Systems, not assets. Ideas that scale across every touchpoint and perform.
You are fluent in modern creative tools including AI, using them to accelerate exploration and iteration while maintaining a high bar for taste and originality.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you lead while staying close to the work.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Define product identities from the ground up with product and insights teams
- →Work upstream to help shape product positioning and opportunity areas
- →Lead scalable campaign platforms and ideas that travel across channels
- →Own the voice across packaging, Amazon, DTC, social, video, and retail
- →Create platform-native ideas built for modern attention
- →Build work that balances brand building and performance
- →Use AI to accelerate concepting and iteration
- →Act as a player coach, leading by doing
- →Mentor and elevate writers
- →Present and sell creative work to stakeholders
- 8 to 10 years in copywriting at a senior or lead level
- Portfolio showing strong conceptual thinking across campaigns and product storytelling
- Demonstrated ability to define and launch product identities and stories from 0 to 1
- Experience working upstream with product and insights teams to shape positioning
- Ability to build ideas across brand and performance channels
- Strong instincts for social and platform-native storytelling
- Experience across DTC, Amazon, retail, and integrated campaigns
- High standards for craft, clarity, and taste
- Experience using AI in the creative process
- Think like a builder, not just a writer
- Care about creating demand, not just content
- Can define and execute ideas from concept through launch
- Push for stronger, more ownable ideas
- Move fast and iterate often
- Lead by example and elevate others
