Job Description:
Shield AI is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Enterprise Technology Services to lead a high-performing team focused on building, integrating, and maintaining enterprise applications that power our global operations. This individual will oversee engineers responsible for software integrations, SharePoint solutions, and Atlassian system administration, ensuring that Shield AI’s enterprise platforms remain scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

This position reports into Enterprise Operations and will collaborate closely with adjacent departments—including Service Delivery, Cloud & Infrastructure, & Cybersecurity—to support the company and its business units. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, program leadership, and people management experience to drive the delivery of reliable, automated solutions across Shield AI’s internal systems.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of engineers supporting enterprise software applications, integrations, and collaboration platforms.
  • Drive the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of Shield AI’s enterprise technology stack, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Atlassian, and other internal platforms.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders; including Product teams, Engineers, Cybersecurity, PX, and Facilities—to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions that enable efficient operations across Shield AI.
  • Oversee application governance, performance, and compliance in coordination with Cybersecurity and IT teams.
  • Support integration of SaaS platforms with identity systems, workflows, and data automation pipelines.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for DevOps automation, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management within Enterprise Operations.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and project plans that align technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Foster collaboration, professional development, and operational excellence across the Enterprise Technology Solutions team.
  • Lead effectively in a dynamic startup setting, balancing competing priorities and guiding teams through rapid change with clarity and confidence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT, software engineering, or application integration.
  • 3+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise applications and integrations in fast-paced, secure environments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions.
  • Experience in a defense, aerospace, or other regulated industry.
  • Hands-on background with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Azure DevOps, and related APIs.
  • Familiarity with software development using C#, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of enterprise identity management (Okta, Azure AD, SSO, RBAC).
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise) at scale.
